About UsMy name is Dan Robinson II. I love to work with my hands. I have been a carpenter for over 20 years and a woodworker for longer than that. I started building furniture when I was in high school. Tables, sconces, boxes, cradles, china hutches, kitchen cabinets, etc. I have made it all. Recently, I discovered the beautiful varieties of wood that is available to make extraordinary projects. I fell in love with the leopard wood, padauk, and the yellowheart. These boxes, hope chests and rocking horses are exquisite beauties to me. I hope you enjoy having them as much as I enjoyed making them.Working with wood is my second love. My family is my first. My wife and I have been married for 20 years. We have three great children. Our oldest, Marty, helps me make the boxes you see in our shop. We all work together to make this shop work.
